Beatrice took over the Seward franchise in the middle of the 1913 season. Seward experienced a devastating tornado in the spring of 1913 and baseball took a back seat to rebuilding the town.
The team was second to last in 1913 but improved to second in 1914. They were in the league lead in 1915 when the league collapsed.
