In 1915, the Lincoln Highway guide indicated that Columbus had a population of about 6,000, a room at the Evans Hotel cost $2.00 and the town boasted 200 automobiles.
Gas was 16 cents a gallon. The franchise was one of the first two to fold during the season and the league folded soon after.
