Sonny Brookhaus managed the 1932 edition of the Grand Island Islanders. He was able to acquire a winning record with his crowd of rookies but wound up in third place for the season.

Short was handled by Giest for 29 games, Brookhaus for 16 games and Peccia for 12 games.

Goethe was the regular catcher for 1932 and averaged .256 in 68 games. Englehart caught 41 games.

Finck was a regular in center field in 1932. He averaged .254.

Gilliam was a regular in left. He averaged .316.

Pitchers:

Gillette was the leading pitcher for the franchise in 1932. He was 16-8 for the season.

Ballantyne was 7-5 in 24 games.

Tums was 11-10 in 21 games.

Smoky Joe Mysza was 12-11 in 28 games.

Lohse was 10-12 in 27 appearances. He also waved the wagon tongue for a .302 average.
