Humboldt is in the southeastern part of Nebraska. It is a town of under 1,000. In 1911 it took over the Maryville franchise in the MINK league and went on to win the league championship.

The current ballpark in Humboldt is at the south end of town. It has a dirt infield and no real outfield fences. The stands are the typical aluminum bleachers.

The diamond is the home grounds for the local legion team.

As you can see a long drive in right field can go forever. There is a small lake just beyond the field.
